City Mini Carseat Adapter

Does anyone know how this stupid thing works? We have a graco snug and ride and we are either doing it 100% wrong or I'm an idiot and its really on there.

Anyone have any advice? I might have to run to Baby's 1st and watch them put it on ... Embarrassed

Re: City Mini Carseat Adapter

  • I'm happy to help you.  I have the same stroller and carseat and LOVE it.  I borrowed a Snap n Go and never used it because this stroller is so easy.  It is even easier now that I don't have to use it with the car seat.  How can I help you?  You insert the silver bar into the 2 holes and then push down the red tab lock things on each side after you get the length right.  You may have to play with it a little the first time.  The cutout on the back of the carseat and the red hook on the bottom backside of the carseat should snap over the bar.  The baby's head will be facing you when you push the stroller. Make sure you put the silver bar with the correct side up (the one that says for Graco).

Here's a good picture of what it should look like https://www.healthchecksystems.com/product/?product_id=11355

  • We have that but I feel like if I pull up on it the carseat isn't secured if that makes sense. I'm assuming that is what the belt /buckle is for? I see the red latch lock in place but then the front of the carseat is just hanging out and not secured and that's the part I was confused about.

  • I can tell you that with the SNG the carseat doesn't "snap" into anything.  You just set it on the frame and use a buckle.  So it doesn't seem very secure.

Is there a carseat that does snap into the City Mini? I have the stroller, but have yet to decide if I'm getting the carseat adapter.
