Oddest place to take a HPT...

Yesterday I took a interent cheapie strip test in the morning so I PIAC and I saw a second line but since I wanted to be SURE, I wanted to get a FRER and a digital.  I was going to my mom's house at 9am so I didn't have time to get my DS and myself ready, go to the store, come back home to take the test, and then leave again.  So I took the cup of pee (I covered it) and put it in my cup holder, drove to the store, got the 2 pregnancy tests and then sat in the car and took them.

As I was sitting in the car in the Safeway parking lot ripping open pregnancy tests and dunking them in a cup of pee I wondered if anyone else had ever done that.

Have you ever taken a HPT in a strange place?

    Hilarious.  And I thought taking one in the bathroom at work was weird.  Wink

    Not me, but someone I know did hers in a Walmart bathroom because her mom couldn't wait until they got home to see if she was pg with #2.  She was!

    This is the funniest thing I've read on here in a long time, and it is the strangest place to take a test. For me, the strangest was taking one at work, but I own my own business, so its really not that strange I guess.

    LOL--I can so see that!!! 

    I took a test with my first pregnancy on a whim--never thinking it would be positive.  Like you, it was faint.  So I got to work and of course have no more at home to test again with.  No one, including my DH knew I tested.  I emailed one of my buddies at work and then went out and got a digital.  I had a conference call I had to be on--so I run to the bathroom---pee on the stick--cover it and carefully put it in my empty cosmetic bag and go back to my office--close the door, get on the call and a few minutes later open the cosmetic bag and PREGNANT appears.  OMG.  As I'm on the call I email my work buddy about it--then I pee'd on like 3 more at home.  LOL.

    Embarrassed   here we go.

    I got pregnant first try, I could not believe it and wanted to take a digital.  DH and I were on our way to visit some friends at a campsite.  We stopped at Wal-Mart on our way, and well I took it in the Wal-Mart restroom. 

    He and my family still talk about it.

    Not me, but my best friend took one in the bathroom at the district office in the middle of our first teacher's institute last year.  It was positive and she kept making me look at it in her bag to reassure her that there really were two lines!

    I used to work the Youth Group at my church and I was pretty late so i took one while at church.  It was a BFN, but that has to be the oddest place i have taken one.

    Thanks ladies! I'm very excited!!!!!!  I got a BFN at 12 dpo so I was very surprised!  I got my BFPs at 14 dpo.

    Congrats on your BFP!

    I have taken a test at work which I thought was a little weird, but then I read on here (a long time ago though, I have been on the nest/bump for longer that I would like to admit) about a girl who squatted behind a building to POAS....that was definitely stranger than my taking a test at work!  It was probably MUD, but hilarious to think that someone would even think about doing that!
