what is your fave date night with dh activity?
our anniversary is coming up at the end of the month and while we have a fab dinner/drink planned - i want to think of something fun to do after! 
we usually go to a local winery, get drunk, and people watch lol

Winery sounds fun... We love wine tastings!!!
DH and I love to go out for sushi... This is usually an 'alone' date night because none of our friends enjoy sushi like we do, and then we try to find live music. There is usually some little towny place with a little jazz band or open mic... Then we just sit and chat with the music in the backround. Right now with it being summer we have gone to a couple of music in the park events at local parks. That's always a good time.

Was just going to say this reminds me... We haven't had a date night in a long while!!! We need one!!! We always do stuff with friends, but never just DH and I and I miss that!

Oh, and the local comedy club. Although the outcome varies... some nights are hilarious and others... well...

Looking back, some of my favorite dates were late night mini-golfing, super-fancy dinners, just slumming around Manhattan with no real direction (since we moved, now we walk around the Battery), sushi and a movie..
Date night? *sigh*
Our anniversary is coming up, too. We're trying to find a sitter -- our teenage neighbor isn't up to two kids, one of them an infant who's often grumpy in the evenings.
My mom is coming next month and besides going to a wedding the weekend she's here, I plan on us going to an improv theater downtown. We always have a great time when we go there!

our usual date nights include going out to dinner, bar afterwards, then walking downtown. we also enjoy people watching. sometimes we'll go to a free concert or a movie.
