I have one for Ava. We've been going to story time for awhile now and she always has a hard time giving the wooden sticks back (they make music with them) and cries every time. They also have a felt board that has a Humpty Dumpty on it that the kids take turns going up and knocking him down. She will go with me but never alone.
Well on Saturday--she walked over to the lady to give the sticks back AND she walked over and knocked the Humpty Dumpty off by herself.
Annabelle had her first full day on Monday and she did wonderful. Took all her bottles, ate lunch and snack and napped for DCP. Although yesterday she didn't get to attend DC because she was sick. Monday night was pretty rough for both her and I. She was up all night long, had a fever, and just wanted to be held. Finally around 4 a.m. I got her to go down for a 2 hour nap. She still ate pretty good yesterday and her fever finally broke yesterday afternoon. She still has tons of snot, not sure if it's a cold or teeth, but whatever it is, I hope she gets over it soon.
Last weekend we attended a preemie gtg in DC. Friday night we meet in Baltimore for dinner and then Saturday was the National Zoo. Annabelle had fun with her new friends. It sure was a long day for mommy and daddy. Here are a few pictures (I posted these on FB too!).

So glad Annabelle did well ast daycare on Monday and I hope she feels better soon and you both get some sleep!
I can't remember if last week I said Collin had gotten a tooth last week, but by Friday he had tooth #2. Still not too much fuss, just fighting sleep like crazy (not sure if that's the teething or not).
Jen-that is great news!! So happy she seems to be doing well at the new place. And Yay for Ava!!
Nothing really new with Sean.....he's had molars coming in so he's intermittently cranky, getting better at his walking (although he still kinda walks like a drunk person), and his sleeping has gotten awesome....7:45 straight through to 7 am.

oh and here is a pic I took of him this morning sleeping in....I had to actually go in his room and wake him so we wouldn't be late! (And Jen, you will get there!!)

yeah, he still uses a sleep sack at night. He loves them. We just do a little blanket for naps though. If I give him a blanket at night he won't keep it on-he is all over the place.
There really isn't a lot going on with Sophia right now. She had several big milestones at once, so now things have slowed down again. The one unfortunate thing is that she has started to want to go to bed at like 6:30. That only leaves an hour for us to spend with her in the evenings. Maybe it is wrong, but we're still pushing her to stay up until at least 7. The other day she slept from 4pm to 6:15am (when I had to wake her up to go to daycare).
She is trying hard to get in her two top teeth. I keep thinking they'll come in any day now. I felt the same way about the bottom two that came in on the same day.
I think she is trying to say "dog" and "duck". I repeat duck to her a lot since she has a stuffed duck she likes and loves the ducks in the bath. The other day she had the stuffed duck on the changing table and I swear she said duck, very clearly. And, she says "doh" which I interpret as dog because she always says it when looking at a book with a dog on one page. maybe I'm just imagining things.
Great updates! I love getting a preview of a few months+ from now!
LJ is doing great! I AWed lots of fun stuff last week, but he is getting so close to sitting on his own. Sooooo close...maybe for next week's update! We drove from Baltimore to Pittsburgh (for a wedding) this past weekend and he did awesome in the car, even with crazy traffic that made the trip 6 hours. After traveling for 2 weekends in a row, we are looking forward to a quiet weekend at home. I plan on doing lots of snuggling and playing with my little guy.
And, randomly - I just noticed he can now pick up his pacifier and put it in his mouth himself. He doesn't even use a pacifier that often, but it is so funny to see that he knows exactly what to do with it.
Happy Birthday, little man. We love you so much!
My favorite money saving tip: I've earned more than $300 in gift cards (Amazon, Starbucks, Southwest!) using SwagBucks for internet searching - and you can too!
It's FREE and EASY!
Amelia is also so close to sitting on her own...I can't believe it! She also moves like crazy in her crib at night now...sometimes she is clear down at the bottom of the crib when waking up. We just broke out her highchair from storage and now she sits with us at dinner. Still no food yet, but I know she will start soon.

I was a proud mama.

Is that a sleep sack? He still uses them?
