Ear Tube Mommas, Please Come In!!!

Oh, no. Poor Fay. She's MISERABLE. She has been fussy for the last few days but I chalked it up to teething... and maybe it is, but...

She had ear tubes put in last month because she has chronic ear infections. Like I said, lately she has been miserably fussy. She pulls on her ears a lot, but I thought it was just habit. The other day I found a very tiny, round thing on her cheek when she woke from her nap. I didn't think anything of it because A. I didn't know what an ear tube looked like, and B. She's a baby, and all kinds of weird things happen with babies! Well, now I'm wondering if an ear tube fell out. She has been doing this REALLY weird straining thing lately, and I wonder if she's adjusting the pressure in her ears or something.?

My question is, would she experience pain if her ear tubes fell out this soon? Could that seriously harm her? Should I call the ENT or her pediatrician. Thanks!

    I dont think it would have fallen out that quickly( at least they aren't supposed to) Abby had hers done about two weeks ago now. She started pulling on them again the other day and they called her in some drops. I would call the ENT and see what they think.

    I dont think it would have fell out that quickly either, but anything happens. If you see any drainage from her ear she may have an ear infection otherwise I dont know if anything else could be wrong.  Thats the only thing our ENT told us.  I would call them or your Pedi. Maybe your Pedi will let you stop in and they could take a quick glance. GL
