Dr. Robert Dock of Livonia or Dr. Sheryl Parks of Westland

I am desperate need to find a new doctor ASAP. I am currently going to a OBGYN that is out of network as it was concidered in network before I went on husbands insurance. I wasn't in a real large rush until I called Oakwood hospital to schedule the 1st Tri. Screening and found out that it will cost over $700 when most insurances pick up the tab. I need to find a new doc this week so that I can schedule my appointment for the test during my 12th week. I sent my doc office a list of a few doctors that were in-network and used in-network hospitals. The doctors listed above were recommended. Has anyone used these doctors before? What are your thoughts?

I used to go to Dr. Parks in Westland. I loved her - she was very caring and knowledgeable but I ended up changing doctors to go to an office closer to my house and a different hospital for delivery.

Just an FYI: when I left her practice, it was just her and (I think) one other doctor that would rotate their on-call days. So very often she was out doing a delivery when I was scheduled for an office appointment and it would have to be rescheduled. Which on one hand is great that it is just her and one other dr. because you have a good chance of her delivering your baby, but on the other hand you have to be prepared to wait for a long time in the waiting room and or be rescheduled.
