Really? Apple slices with peanut butter on the were a very popular snack when I was growing up. Tasty, lots of protein, what's not to love?

Okay *phew* DH is Jewish and I'm French Canadian so there are a lot of things that we just don't "get" about each other's eating habits (like pizza and fries...whah?! SO unhealthy!) I wasn't sure if this was one of those weird things.

DH keeps trying to get me to make him poutine. I just can't do it though- that is soo not my idea of yummy.

I eat that a few times a week! Why was he so surprised? I will eat it on celery too.

Edit: I don't think it is a Jewish thing either; my mother fed it to my brother and I all the time, and it is completely kosher. Both items are Parve.

I tried that for the first time a few weeks ago (I'd read it in a few different places looking for healthy snacks). I thought it was really good! Plus, the carb+protein+fiber -- you can't beat that.
