Dance class for DD

One of the dance studios in town just sent out the schedule  for dance classes for this year and they are offering classes for girls ages 2-3  on Mondays from 10:45-11:30 AM and I think DD would love to take the class.

The problem I am having is we travel to Spokane once a month for my DH's eye  treatment and his appts can only be on Monday morinings at 9:00 AM (the earlist appt possiable) tell 10:30 and we could not get back to Moses Lake until 12:30 (since Spokane is 2 hours from Moses LAke)

So the tuiton is 38.00 a month and if we can not attend once I month I feel that I am basically throwing away about 8.00 a month by not attending the one class a month. And money is so tight I want to make the most use of our money.

Any thoughts as to what I should please help me think of some options

should I just not put her in dance this year ? or should I just suck up the idea of losing the 8.00 a month ?

    I do think 2 is a bit young for dance classes.  They just don't have the skills to follow along and listen to what the teacher is doing.  Is it a mommy and me class?  Why not look around and see if any other studios offer it on another day?

    Do you have any friends/family members who could take her to dance on those mornings?  If you had a friend with a daughter around the same age, maybe they could go to the classes together, and one of the other weeks you could take their daughter for the morning.

    Meg has been in "dance class" since she was walking.  We call it dance class but its really parent/toddler movement class.  Ours was $35 a month and even with missing a class here and there I really felt we got our moneys worth.  From the middle to the end of my pregnancy I could not take her so other family members or friends took her for me and it worked out fine.  Actually at the end, the instructor (a friend) was her partner.  Dance class was something she looked forward to each week, so we made it a priority for her to go.  She starts pre-ballet next month.

    I have my little man in mommy and me dance class at pnb in Bellevue.  They have quite a few days to choose from.
