Poop: There, I said it

HELP! DD will not poop in the toilet.  She has been going pee in the toilet for over 8 weeks with not one accident during the day.  She has pooped in the toilet once.  She either goes in her panties, waits until bedtime when she gets a diaper (she is still not waking up dry so that is why we use diaper), or she will hold it for DAYS and then it is just a big mess to clean up.

It makes it hard to take her anywhere because now she is not on a poop "schedule" and I never know when she is going to go.

Any ideas on how to get her to poop on the toilet?  She will tell me she needs to go, but once she is on the toilet she starts screaming that she doesn't have to go and refuses to...

Re: Poop: There, I said it

  • I have no advice for you, unfortunately, but wanted to say we're in a similar boat. Granted we've just started PTing a few days ago, but DD pees ok on the toilet, when it comes to pooping it's a no-go.  The other day, she hid from us and pooped in her panties. Today, she pooped in her panties again, then when I tried to put her on the toilet she told me she didn't need to go, yet she pooped again 10 minutes later, in her panties. I'm hoping it's just a phase and it'll pass (sooner rather than later). Good luck!
