...well let me back up first. So I had a small "Guess the Sex" dinner party for my family b/c I thought that'd be a fun way to tell them (I got the idea off of this wonderful board!). I made bakerella's cake pops - the color of the pop inside would be either pink or blue. While I think the cake pops are super duper cute, they are also super duper sweet (so no one really ate them after the first bite).
Everyone wore blue or pink for their guess - it was split (both the little girls wanted a girl cousin, but the one in blue only had clean clothes that were blue, ha ha):
After dinner, we bit into the pops and.....
So then I had to go out and get a pattern to make these:
Reverse pinafore dresses b/c they are just so darn cute!

Hooray! I love it! And congrats on Team Pink...you'll love having a little girl!
BTW, I have been looking for that type of reverse pinafore pattern...where'd you get it? I want to make some for Libby.

Thanks, everyone!
The pattern I bought was by Butterick - super easy (and I'm not doing the ruffled bloomers).
I remember when you posted about those, they were so cute. And I love how they can graduate from a dress to a top as they grow.
Congratulations!
What a great little way to announce the news.
