My twins hate the sippy and im thinking the flow is too slow...which straw sippy do u use? How long did it take for your LO to figure out how to use the straw?
My DD has a couple of these and she does great with them. We started with these, and now she can drink from any straw sippies.
This one also! DS can hold it really well and for the most part it doesn't leak (unless he is smashing it upside down on the floor, then a few drops will come out). He also likes to stick his thumb in the straw and flick whatever little liquid is left in there at anyone around haha. But it's great, really no complaints.
I tried the one that pp recommended with our first and I hated it. B could never get anything to some through the straw because the straw has to be compressed as well as sucked through.
I like these. You can get them at toysrus or bru and they are only around $8 for a two pack.

This one. We tried a bunch of other sippies but this is the only one that she actually gets water out of and can hold herself. We love it.
