Is there such a thing? has anyone found and used a professional service that is non-chemical that actually works and gets stains out of the carpets?
The house we're in has almost white carpets, typical builder choice, and were already quite stained. now that DS is getting to be more mobile, we'd like to have them cleaned more than just vacuumed.Especially since we know the previous occupants had at least one little one (outlets still have some of the safety covers on and creative use of blue crayon) and dog (found a chewie under the stove when we move that one out and put ours in)
Any suggestions?
Re: Non-chem carpet cleaners?
We used Stanley Steemer. It's not chemical free, but they say it's pretty much like detergent, and they use a lot of water to suck it out. I feel like there's less stuff leftover in the carpet than some companies.
I don't know of any that don't use any chemicals. You could rent a rug doctor and just use hot water.
