New to area - Looking for some good mommy friends :)

Hello,

My husband and I moved to the area last July. He is in the Coast Guard and we got transferred from Key West! I know! Key West to Cleveland....ugh!! I grew up in Boston area so I know the weather...just wasn't ready to see it again.

 Anyway, I'm 32 and I have a 4 month old son and with my husband away on duty a lot I would really like to meet some other moms to hang out with and maybe have play dates with. I'm also starting a great exercise and diet routine and have tons of videos and weights and stuff at the house as well as a gym membership at Bally's. Maybe a workout partner as well? :) Also would like to get out a few nights a month for some much needed cocktails :) I'm used to being around tons of friends and family and not used to this being alone all the time. There is only so much baby talk I can do.

    I am fairly new to the area too, but not due until 7/15.  I found a few potential groups on meetup.com that I plan to join once the baby is born.

    I'm pretty busy until the baby is here, but I'm not returning to work full-time after the baby is born and would love to hang out!

    Congrats!! Thats so exciting! I know the last month I was DYING to give birth. I had heartburn like crazy and horrible back pains. Now I would put him back in in a heartbeat just so I can get a good nights sleep! :) Its all worth it though. But hard! I'm a stay at home mom. So weird not working but he takes a lot out of me and it is definitely the hardest job I've ever had. Most rewarding though for sure.

     So yes, lets keep in touch and I wish you a healthy and quick delivery! I'm still recouperating...lol....he had a big head lol

    We have little GTG on the nest. None of us have kids yet. I am trying though. :)

    I was raised in Cleveland, so i know the area pretty well.  However I just found out i'm pregnant.  I don't know how much fun i'll be.  I'm looking for friends because every single one of my friends moved out of state.

    Hi, i'm in parma and totally know what you mean about having only so much baby talk you can handle. I have 5 kids and would love to hang out and be a workout partner. i also have a membership to Bally's. I'm currently expecting so i wont be much of a cocktail partner though.
