Umm, why do I have baby fever?

I can't shake my baby fever.  DS is almost 11 months and I find that I can't stop thinking about #2.  I talked to my husband and we plan on TTC after Christmas but agreed that if it happen sooner -- that would be okay too.  To that end, we aren't avoiding. 

I EBF and haven't gotten my period yet but starting charting again a few weeks ago.  I am not noticing any impending ovulation signs and find myself, wait for it, eager to get my period.  I realize that you can get pregnant while BF and before you get your first period.  I guess I am "hoping"  I am just so shocked that I have this baby fever considering: I didn't LOVE being pregnant and if I got pregnant now it would mean that I would be pregnant or nursing for almost 4 years!  Anyone else going through this?

    YEP! I actually went and saw my OB today to be put on PNV's again because we are TTC starting in October.

    I think baby fever is normal around 11/12 months because you start remembering oh this time last year I had my baby shower, I was getting ready to deliver, etc. All that being said we are waiting at least 3 years haha.!

    DH and I have talked about #2 for awhile now.  We are hoping to start trying in the fall/winter.  I EBF but have gotten my period already.  So will be BF for a long time too!  We are planning on 3 kids close together though :)

    I have it too! Luckily I remember the colic and exhaustion still well enough that we will hold off on trying for at least another year. I think it's pretty common at this point, our babies are growing up!

    I have it, which is why were TTC now : )  DH brought it up first but it didn't take much convincing..DD is such a good baby and motherhood has been so much easier than I ever thought it would be. We will see what happens..I EBF too but I am one of those lucky ones who got AF when DD was 8 weeks old : /

    How exciting! And yes, I've been through that exactly! :) DH and I were going to start TTC when DD1 was 15 months. We had baby fever and decided to stop preventing when DD1 was 10/11 months. We figured we'd just see what happened (I stopped BF at 9 mos) and it happened right away! And IMO, it's pretty perfect Big Smile GL to you!

    TTC since 8/13 - diagnosed difficulty conceiving due to LP defect. Took vitamin B and Vitex Berry to help lengthen.
    BFP 2/14 - Missed M/C found at 8.5 weeks. D&C at 9w2d. Partial Molar Pregnancy.
