Let me guess, this is your first baby??? I can't wait to see your posts after the baby is born. Do you know that some people can't breastfeed. Even after trying and trying. So are those women bad moms? Do you know that some babies die from SIDS even when the parents have done everything by the book. You need to relax before your baby gets here. Uptight moms make bad moms, your baby will sense it. RELAX. Not everyone will do things the way you do them. Get over it. You shouldn't flame people for raising their own children.

You do realize you are talking to someone who already thinks she knows it all and who has no wish to even attempt to understand where someone else is coming from. She has her mind made up and by God (don't mention God to her, since there isn't one) and no one is going to change it!

You don't know that woman. Presumably you have not had an infant born with teeth. Just not sure where you get off being the voice of judgement.

Well what our mothers generation means when they say they "couldn't" breastfeed is that they didn't really feel like trying very hard, and whatever excuse came along for them to use that cool new fangled formula stuff...they were jumping on it!

This. Although, I did think it was a teenage boy up until the CD discussion earlier. I don't think a bored teenage boy would have that much knowledge about CD if he was just trying to piss of pregnant ladies. There really is no point in getting worked up over her posts.

Thank you so much. I will be sure to pass this along to her. She is done having children, as she had to have a mandatory hysterectomy a few years back (but you probably already knew that or disagree that it was mandatory, even) but I will definitely keep it in mind for myself, if my child should be born with teeth, oh wise all-knowing one. pfffft!

oh what a load that is. maybe that's what your mother meant when you were born, but my husband's mother still beats herself up to this very day about being unable to breastfeed her boys. her milk just never came in.
Only if you want to be that mom on that one episode of L&O who's child died because she couldn't breastfeed.
But here in the real world, if a mom couldn't breasfeed she should probably look into formula feeding prior to letting her child die of starvation.

I know atelier can be a pain most days, but she's actually been kind of tame on some of the posts today... helpful even... but no, she doesn't know everything.
