Parenting after a Loss

Don't want to jinx myself, but ...

... I *think* DD might have outgrown her milk allergy.  We fed her waffles made with milk for breakfast on Sunday and she didn't react.  So I gave her some more today.  No reaction.  I got a little cocky and let her eat what DH and I had for dinner (cheese and pesto tortellini with tomato sauce), and so far, no reaction.  Fingers crossed ... it would be so great if her allergy had passed!!

  • That's great! I know DS' pedi said we could try reintroducing milk at 8  months, so hopefully she's outgrown it completely now at 10 months!

  • that would be great!  I'm wondering if C still has a touch of one...since he's been getting whole milk yogurt for breakfast I've noticed he's a bit more rashy...  : (
  • So exciting!  I've started experimenting this week too!  DS has a soy and dairy allergy and I gave him some pancakes w/ milk too and so far so good.  I EP and have been having bits of cheese etc...I'm so hopeful!  Good luck to us~!
