My parents have been wonderful to me, DH and DD. They have opened up their home and allowed us to live with them for the past year in order to save up money for a house. We finally moved into our new home this weekend and they have helped in any way they could by taking me shopping for supplies, helping me gut out and redo the house and of course by watching DD. They never even charged us rent! Now DH and I would like to get them a nice gift to show our gratitude. We have always taken them out to dinner at least once a week. They are pretty young and still like to venture out. Giving them photos wouldn't really be a giift because DH is a photographer and we are always giving them photos. We want to get them something different, but I don't know what. Any ideas? TIA

Re: Gift ideas- for parents
Weekend away at a B&B, taking them grocery shopping and paying for it, couple massages, gift cards to dinner and movies.
Do they need something done on their house like the carpets cleaned or fresh paint, some landscaping?
I like to give 'experiences' as a special gift, so a weekend away or tickets to a concert or event.
