We are having difficulty picking the names for our twin girls. We thought we were set, but now we may have changed. Now we are a little stuck. Please pick set A or set B. THANKS
Set A - Lucia (Lucy) Rose and Layla Grace
Set B - Liliana (Lily) Elyse and Rosella (Rosie) Grace
Re: Help us pick the names for our twin girls
Exactly what I was going to say!
This!
I like Lucia and Rosella together best.
But please don't go with A. Layla and Lucy are too similar. As a twin myself, I can tell you that as twins age into adolescence, individuation is extremely important. Having rhyming or even similar names might seem cute to parents, but it doesn't help a twin learn to become an individual. I know twins who have rhyming names, and not only does it make me feel like their parents lack intelligence, it also does a disservice to the twins themselves. They're always going to be referred to as "the twins," please don't make it worse by giving them similar names.
Did not read PP's responses yet. Running behind today...
I like Liliana Elise (spelled this way)
and either
Rosalie Grace or Rosalyn Grace
Rosella sounds made up (not sure if it is)
Also instead of Rosie, I would use nn Rose. If you are going to have twins with flower names, you might as well own it! Go with Lily and Rose, instead of Lily and Rosie. (Lily and Rosie are too cutesy/rhymey for my taste anyway)
