Just made my first appointment

in April 2011 Moms
I'm meeting with the midwife on August 20th at 2:30 PM.  What should I expect to happen?

    I use an OB practice, but at my first appointment with the doctor they did a pap/well woman exam and then felt around my abdomen and ensured that my uterus felt like it should.  They'll also start doing measurements from your pubic bone to your belly button.  I also had a transvaginal u/s.  They also answered any questions and I had and kind of gave me a broad overview of what to expect over the next few months.
