emotional rollercoaster...
OK, so I have been bleeding for just over a week now (red with blood clots) and prior to that spotting... I had an u/s on 7/30 and the baby was measuring perfectly and we saw a great heartbeat, I had another ultrasound on 8/5 due to increased bleeding (flowing like a period) and baby had grown appropriatley and still a very strong heartbeat... they also ordered my hcg levels to be tested on 8/5 and again on 8/7 - I got a call this morning she said they had increased - more good news - but the bleeding isn't slowing down... I am trying to stay optimisitc, but am on this crazy emotional rollercoaster...
Anyone else every experience this???
I have my first official appointment on Wednesday (8/11).

Have they checked for a lesion or blood clot? I have a small blood clot that caused some spotting due to the placenta coming though the uterine wall, or something like that. I don't really get a lot of medical stuff.
I'm sorry you are going through this stress. It sounds optimistic with your results. I hope you continue to receive good news. Stay in touch with your OB as much as you need to.
I was going to say the same thing as PP - I wonder if there is a tear in the placenta or if it came off the wall, I know that can cause bleeding.
I hope they figure out what's wrong soon and I'm so glad to hear your baby is doing great!
thanks ladies - I am going to mention these to my Dr on Wednesday at my first official ob appointment...
I pray that everything is OK, but this just doesn't seem "normal" or healthy to me.
