Ben has started getting them mixed up, especially when they're wearing the same thing. I can still tell them apart, but there have been times when I've had to take a second look. I'm think we might have to give one of them a mowhawk. Or a tattoo. You know, something.
Re: so it turns out that my kids look alike :-P
What kind of tattoos should we get? Maybe one "I love Mama" and one "I love Daddy"?
But seriously, I've actually been thinking about ID bracelets for when we put them in daycare.
Their personalities are pretty different (Will likes to hang back and check out a situation before he gets involved, while Dash just wants to jump right in and party) so that's a sure-fire way to tell them apart for me, but I'm not sure how apparent it is to everyone else.
OMG! I was looking at ID bracelets online and found these - they're temporary tattoos lol! What a funny idea (although useful for if you go to an amusement park or something)!
hehehe, tattoos for sure! Then they can never try to trick YOU when the get older!
A lady I work with has identical twin boys (that are teens now) - she always said she always painted 1 toenail on one baby's foot. It came up b/c another co-workers is having identical twin girls next month.
That's what I thought in the last pics I saw on your FB! I was like, wait...I can't tell who has more hair anymore! They really do look identical to me!
the tattoo's should say "pirate 1" and "pirate 2" you know like thing 1 and thing 2 from Dr Suess
but if you guys want to be less bold I suppose you could go with the temporary ones!
The ID bracelets were mostly for extended family because the girls were completely identical and they were frequently dressed alike. I found it easy to tell them apart because I knew their personalities but I can see how that may be difficult for someone who didn't. The ID bracelets worked great and the girls never messed with them, although they did wear them starting at a very young age.
This is what my cousin did the first few weeks after she had her identical twin girls. They were born early and each one had different issues (one needed heart meds & the other breathing meds) so she couldn't get them mixed up. One polished toe did the trick for her (and helped all of us!)
