Parenting after a Loss

Really dumb BM question

I managed to get home in time to feed my LO before he went to bed, so I didn't have to use what I was able to pump over the last few days.  Can I transfer it to the freezer even if it has been stored in the refrigerator for three days already?  Sorry if this is the dumbest question ever, I rarely pump and if so it either goes directly into the freezer or is used almost immediately. Thanks ladies. :)

Re: Really dumb BM question

  • Certainly!! You just want to freeze it before it spoils:)  I am an exclusive pumper and freeze my extra.  basically, I bulk freeze once or twice a week and store it in bottles in my fridge in between:)

    HTH:)
