Before I stated my inject. I had to start weighing myself twice a day (am and pm) to monitor for peripheral edema, etc.
I am on Follistim and Lupron. I noticed I am down about 2.5 pounds since I started 2 weeks ago. I thought it was a fluke, but my last 4 weights have been the same! I do not understand this as my appetite has been HUGE since starting the meds. I eat 3 meals a day plus 3 scheduled snacks (big snacks). I make sure I drink plenty of fluids. I have stopped working out, my cramps and backaches are just too bad, I do not feel like exercising.
Is this a usual side effect?
Re: Has anyone else had weight loss due to injectables?
Not for me, but I wish it was.

I felt like a beached whale on Lupron, but when I weighed myself I had actually lost 2 lbs. So, yes, I am one of those rare crazy cases too.

YES! I am the same way, I feel big, but when I weigh myself weight loss. It is the strangest thing.
To answer the other post: no I was never a work out fiend, I do not belong to a gym or anything. I used to do stretching and pilates a couple of times a week. I still walk a few times a week, just to get out. We walk for leisure, no speed walking here!!
Yes, I did lose weight on injectibles. I'm a poor responder so was only sporting 2 follicles each time despite the maximum doses.
On the other hand, I can gain 5 pounds just looking at a pack of bcps...
