My turn. Need Opinions, Please.

Do you like the name Presley Ava for a girl.  My other 2 dds names start with a P, so I wanted to stay away from another P because I thought it would be too much.  This is just the only name that has really appealed to me so far.  I'd love your opinions, please.

    I really like Ava..but don't like Presley at all.

    Regardless, Presley is pretty awful, sorry. It doesn't flow well with Ava, either.

    Regardless, Presley is pretty awful, sorry. It doesn't flow well with Ava, either. 

    Yes, I did not want another P name, but as I said, it was the only name I liked so far.

    I like Ava, but not Presley.

    What are you other DD's names? Maybe we can make some suggestions that you haven't thought of yet.

    Love Presley!! Very, very cute.. I can see how others may not like it b/c it's not really there style, but it's different and can still be feminine.. esp w/ Ava.

    Do not like Presley at all. But that's not what I came here to say.

    If you do go with Presley, you've got an unstoppable trend on your hands. You know the story of the Duggars?

    They started with a son. They named him Joshua, simply because it was their favorite name at the time.

    Then they were lucky enough to have twins! They named their bundles of joy Jana and John David, which just happened to be their next favorite names.

    They were so happy and didn't expect to have more children after that, but they were blessed with another girl!

    They thought that this could be their last child, and they didn't want the last one of FOUR to feel left out, so they felt compelled to continue the trend. They named her Jill.

    After that, what else could they do? They've had 15 more children since then (so far), and they feel the MUST continue the J trend, or each child could be the last one, and they could be left out for their whole lives.

    So they ended up with: Josh, Jana, John David, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, Joy Anna, Jedidiah, Jeremiah, Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, Johanna, Jennifer, Jordyn, and Josie.

    I realize their situation is unique, and you probably won't end up having that many. But the point is you never know what is in store for you.

    Not a fan of Presley, but Ava is ok.

    The only other P names that I like for a girl are Penelope and Phoebe.

    It woule be better first name Ava, middle name Presley. I think you could come up with a prettier "P" name though if you aren't already set on Presley.

    It's not awful, but it's definitely not my style. I'm not a fan of masculine or gender neutral names for girls. I do appreciate that you're pairing it with a more feminine middle name though.

    Thanks, I was getting kind of depressed thinking everyone hated this name, esp since I can not think of anything else I really like better.  The Duggar thing is a good point, but there is no way I would ever be able to handle that many kids.  I just don't have the patience.  Kudos to them, though.  I really don't want another P name, but it just so happens that this is the only name I have liked a lot so far and it is a P.  It's just so darn hard to pick a name and I don't want one that every other kid has, yet I definitely don't want it to be strange.

    If I were you I would try to use something that doesn't start with P. Presley's nms anyway, but what about:

    Avery (of course for this one you'd definitely have to come up with a new mn)

    Marley

    Chesney

    Sidney/Sydney

    Dylan

    Harper

    Riley

    I love the name Presley. Not sure about Presley Ava...I had a friend who named her little girl, Presley Lynn.
