Hey Lori I saw your super adorable picture of Libby eating in the weekly checkin and thought "is that bacon?" Then I thought, I don't see Lori feeding Libby bacon but I could be wrong! But then looked again is it sweet potato fries? It looks delicious!
I also saw Libby's bib, have you invested in any of those bibs with the catchers? There are a god-send at our house! About 1/4 of what Bella eats ends up in the catcher part and then we "re-cycle" it by dumping back onto her tray. We have several different ones but my favorites are from good old Walmart. These are the ones we first started out with (different style but same brand) They are nice but the "catcher part" doesn't stick out enough to catch enough stuff, it catches about 1/2 of what falls: https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3987641
Of course I searched for the walmart ones that we have and I can't find them... the difference between the BRU ones and the walmart ones are the pouch has buttons so it unbuttons for easy clean up/washing and it has buttons on the neck instead of velcrow (sp). Bella can pull the velcrow ones off in a snap! They cost around $5-6 each.
Just thought I would mention it, it's been a BIG time clothes saver for me because B is a messy eater!!
Re: **Lori Libby's mama**
Ha, Ha...hmm bacon! We'll try that NEXT week! J/K! Yes, those are sweet potato "fries" (and they are YUMMY...you can season them with some cinnamon and/or a little cayenne or paprika...delish)...
Thanks for the tip on the bibs...we have one with the pocket like you describe but right now we find that Libby is distracted by it because it folds up in her lap when she's seated and she spends the whole time playing with it and chewing on it rather than her food!
It's funny, we have about 10 bibs but for some reason that yellow one with "love" embroidered on it ended up in all of the photos I've snapped. They are terry cloth with a plastic backing. Most of the time we just feed her in her diaper (since a bath is usually right after dinner) but sometimes she's clothed and it can get messy...so far I have had GREAT luck with OxyClean and Grandma's Soap.
Eventually, I want to get one of those molded bibs with the pocket...

Bella used to get really distracted by the bibs at first too but now she just leaves them alone. The plastic backing is key, I'm not sure who decided that not lining the back was a good idea... we have several that are just terry cloth material and they are pretty much good for nothing!
What's Grandma's soap? I've never heard of that. We do use a little oxyclean in each of our loads.
Grandma's Soap is an AWESOME stain remover that I pick up from Ace Hardware (I've seen it at JoAnn's Fabrics too):

A little goes a long way and so far it has taken EVERYTHING out...oil (salad dressing, butter, etc.), red wine, blood, poosplosions (I use it on the white elastic on the Thirsties covers), tomato sauce, chocolate, etc. LOVE it!
The plastic backed terry bibs we have were a shower gift...we got like 12 of them in a set. They're awesome for drool, milk (when she's taking a cup from daddy or grandma), water, and now...food! She is more distracted by prints and the terry ones we have a are plain colors with a little decorative embroidery or silk screen but not printed all over. But I can see that soon we'll need more pocket-style ones since she's getting more and more into feeding herself.
