Nicknames

I think there was already a post about this, and I'm sorry. What nicknames do you and your SO have for the baby?

I showed DH a picture of what the baby should look like and he said, "Oh! It looks like a little dinosaur!"

So now, I'm carrying a dinosaur in Dinosaurland. I wonder if it will stick and if any new ones will come up.

I know I will call it our "honey bun in the oven," or "honey bun" for short. Honey Bunny was a pet name I had for DH when we were dating, and I think the whole idea of the "bun in the oven" is appropriate. Lol.

I know everyone uses Peanut..........but since is my DH that started calling the baby his peanut......... well........I will stick with it.

My BFF says that since we were lucky enough to conceive our first month trying, that we should nickname this baby Lucky. I may stick with that one since we haven't come up with anything else on our own.

We keep calling the baby whatever fruit size it is. Last week it was "poppy seed", this week "appleseed".

When I was pregnant with my daughter, everyone drove us crazy demanding to know the names we'd chosen. We started telling everyone the baby would be named "Schwanhilda" (a name we heard on a TLC multiples show) just because it sounded funny. That name stuck until I delivered.

This time around, my mom said she thinks it's a boy. DH immediately started calling the baby "Schwanhenry"...oh dear. I think it's going to stick.

So far we called it "The Baby" and "shrimp" and "parasite"

Hopefully the names will improve as time goes on.

Ours is Little Foot. When DH and I first started dating we watched The Land Before Time one day and it kind of became our movie. So Little Foot seemed perfect.

We called DD The Squib until I quickening started- then she became The Tummy Monkey. (And when I was being crazy preggo hormonal my DH called her The Vagina Monster, mostly because it always diffused the situation).

This time around we're looking for something interesting to call it until we move back to Tummy Monkey.

My family has this strange "tradition" of naming things we dont know the sex of bob (ex. a dog once came to our door and i asked my brother it's name and he said Bob)

Anyway the baby has been dubbed Baby Bob
