Tinea Versicolor

So Addy has these white spots on the back of her arms. They just became noticeable when she got a bit of sun. I took her to the pedi today for her 15 mo appt and he diagnosed it as the above... A skin yeast infection. He said use Lotrimin on it and it'll clear up. 

Anyone have to battle this before? I am wondering if she needs some probiotics or anything as well? Just seems so odd to me to have a yeast infection on your skin. ick.

    I have it on my chest.  Mine are brown, but I have really pale skin, so if your LO is darker they may show up as light on her.

    I used to get an RX each year at the dermatologist, but I couldn't get it last year because I was pg.  I might try the Lotramin suggestion!
