PDF question - printing comments in black

NBR obviously - I should be able to figure this out easily but my sleep-deprived brain isn't working.

I have a PDF document with a bunch of text-box comments in it. The comments are in red text. Correct me if I'm wrong (and I would love you forever if I am) but I don't think I can change the font color. I need the text to be black. No biggie, just print the PDF to PDF again in B&W, right? No - even when I tell it to print B&W, the comments still come out red. Does anyone know why or what I'm doing wrong here?

  • I would look around in your printer's properties (go to Print and then Properties) to turn off your color settings. It's usually under the finishing tab but I know this varies by printer.

The other manual way would be to right click on each comment box and hit properties and change the color there (I think). Although now that I mention it, I don't think this will work. I think Im getting it confused with changing the color in the text box. But it's worth a shot to look at.
