Washing

This may be a stupid question but I was never given any specific details or instructions...I tore a little during delivery and had to have stitches...when can I actually use soap down there again? I have been using the peri bottle, sitz bath (when I can) an showering. I just feel dirty and was hoping for some guidance.  Thanks!

    Stupid questions don't exist. We're just never told what to expect. Sounds like you're doing all you can. It is super annoying though. Use a mild soap on a mesh sponge. As long as it doesn't hurt from being swollen or doesn't sting, you're probably fine.

    I was told I could use baby soap (Its mild and didnt sting). I used it on a sponge and dabbed until I was comfortable. My dr. recommended using the peri bottle to rinse since the water pressure from the shower head would be to much.
