I had my first RE appointment yesterday. He did the vaginal ultrasound and I had five follicles on each ovary. One ovary is still a good size, the other a bit small-ish. I told my DH it was small but mighty! The RE thought everything looked good.
He sent me for my HSG test this morning. The tubes are clear. The Dr. doing the procedure said it looks as though there may be a bit of scar tissue on one, but he wasn't overly concerned because they dye did go through with no problems. That was not a fun experience. What a weird feeling and not something I would want to do again.
DH had his SA at the same clinic about a month ago. His morphology was 11%. My OB made it seem as though it might be a bit of an issue, but the RE said anything over 4% is excellent so that was good to know.
Next step is all the CD 3 testing, but until then, it's more BD and hoping that the tube flushing may help out ![]()
Re: RE Appointment Update
great report! It feels good to pass the hurdles, doesn't it? One more step closer!!! I've heard the dye test can flush you out and prime you for better BD success. I hope that happens for you!!! -Pix
Thanks, ladies. So far, so good. Keeping my fingers crossed that things keeps going well.
Pix - yes, my doctor did mention that. I guess it can be good for up to three months. That's what I was hoping - that a good flush of the plumbing will do the trick.
