Inexpensive newborn photographers...HELP!!

Hey ladies, we are trying to find a good photographer or somewhere to go to get newborn photos done when the little guy gets here.

We are under a budget and can't afford to spend a $100 sitting fee and THEN have to buy the pictures.

We were thinking maybe target, sears or JC penny's but does anyone have any input or experience. Any suggests would be awesome!!!

Thanks so much!

I would suggest trying to find a photographer that is starting off on craigslist or through somewhere like that (that has a nice portfolio) that is willing to give you all the images on a disc so that you can just pay the sitting fee. Some photographers (and a lot that are starting off) will do this for you. I would try something like this before one of the other places, especially if you can find someone that will do on location photography.

You can try my sister.  She's just starting her photography business.

I'm not sure where you are in the valley, but Picture People at Arrowhead Mall are great! https://picturepeople.com/ Check Online too they sometimes have deals and coupons!

I've gotten a ton of pictures done there before and what is really nice is they don't charge a sitting fee, all you pay for is your pictures (which are good prices) They also keep the pictures on file i believe for 1 year, so if you can't buy all the pictures you want when you get them taken you can go back and have more printed!

    Good Luck!! :)

I used Amber who owns Two Peas in a Pod Photography for my maternity photos. She did an amazing job and we paid 110 to have her come out to our house for a hour and a half. She gave us a disk with our photos edited and the copyright so we could just take it to Sam's Club and have them printed there. She was so amazing. Here is her website. We will be using her again when the baby is born.

I worked for JCPenny portrait studio & Target portrait studio and if you go online to their website you can get really good deals. I suggest the JCP at Paradise Valley mall. If you get a coupon the sitting fee is free and the portraits sheets are 3.99 and one pose packages are 7.99.

Target Portraits is the same company, owned by Lifetouch Inc. and they never charge sitting fees. They are a little bit cheaper, they love honoring coupons.

I have always had a good experience w/ both studios and I plan on going there after my LO is born.

We ended up using Amber for our pictures because she was the best price for us. She was AMAZING and I want to thank you!! She completely exceeded all our expectations!!
