Poopapalooza

My child has the exact opposite of constipation, but not diarrhea.  She is pooping like 5-6 times a day including during the night, which has led to diaper rash.  She was doing fine until about 3 days ago, pooping only two times a day and usually during the first half of the day.  I am feeding her baby food out of the jar.  Last night I gave her only rice cereal and bananas and the same tonight. She had pears and squash at day care.  I'm going to make sure to tell her day care to only feed her rice and bananas tomorrow.

Is this something I should be concerned about?

    I assume you are using some sort of diaper rash barrier?  Other than that, I'd just make sure she is hydrated.

    Yes, once I noticed the diaper rash I started using Aquaphor but am now using Desitin.  The diaper rash is getting better, but she is still pooping a lot.  She pooped twice within an hour last night, but she didn't poop in her sleep last night.

    Yes, once I noticed the diaper rash I started using Aquaphor but am now using Desitin.  The diaper rash is getting better, but she is still pooping a lot.  She pooped twice within an hour last night, but she didn't poop in her sleep last night.

    Maybe she's teething?  Either way - no fun for anyone involved!
