Prometrium and exhaustion!

For those of you on progesterone supps., do you think they are making you really tired? I am 8 DPO and have been on the Prometrium since last Sunday, using them 3 times a day and I have been exhausted. It has especially been bad the last 2 days. I actually just woke up from a nap, and feel like I could still be sleeping (the phone woke me up)!! Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?!

diagnosed with heterozygous Factor V Leiden 2008; m/c 11/09 @ 5 1/2 wks; m/c 5/10 @ 4 1/2 wks; RLP testing done, diagnosed with antiphospholipid syn. and low progesterone; 7/10 started on Heparin injections & progesterone supps @ 3 dpo, BFP 8/9/10!!! Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker BabyFetus Ticker

    YES! I only take them before bed because they knock me out. But i tend to feel tired throughout the day too. You are not alone!

    Well, that's good to hear--not that you're tired, but that I'm not alone!  How many do you take a day? I don't think you're supposed to use more than one at once, right? And since I'm doing 3 a day, I don't have much choice, but to use them during the day as well! Maybe I'm wrong about this!

    Yes! When my doc prescribed it (it was just one pill/day), she specifically advised me to take it before bedtime because they'd probably make me tired. And, while I was dealing with first trimester exhaustion anyway, I did notice that if I took the prometrium a little earlier in the evening (like say 9:00) rather than immediately before bed, I would zonk out on the couch soon after and just feel so tired it hurt when I woke up to actually go to bed.
