Cat stole my BBT

So I started charting this cycle just to see what my body is doing. So last night I set the alarm clock, and relized my BBT was not on the night stand.

So I got up, looked under the bed, under the table, under my pillows and tore my room apart at 10:30 pm. NO BBT..

So I check the bathroom, the spare room, the kitchen.. and finally the living room, thinking maybe that morning I took my time and carried it to the computer to enter the temp.  Not there...

Now I'm getting frustrated, until I walked by the cat tree. There it was, snuggled in between Zero's belly and paws.

Maybe he's trying to tell me something.

    And, the germaphobe in me says to buy a new BBT, or seriously disinfect it.  Eeww, cat paws = cat poop Ick!

    Oh my gosh - that is so funny!!  Frustrating, but funny.  I think one of my cats knocked mine down to the floor one night, but never taken it.  I am just smiling over the thought of your cat thinking that your BBT was something worth "stealing".

    My cat hides mine all the time!  (Not to worry, leneae...I keep mine in the case!!)  Its usually under the bed, but I've also found it in our linen closet, on the small towel shelf.  (She likes to sleep there if the door is open.)

    With 4 cats I am so use to cat poop..lol. But I did disenfect it with bleach and it's sitting on the kitchen sink.

    My cats also steal the oddest things.  We still have a red Christmas ball missing from four years ago that I know the cats have hidden somewhere.  My youngest cat likes to steal money, paper or coin, doesn't matter.

    What is it with cats and BBTs? My cat stole my pretty shiny new one too. But I haven't found it yet. Sad
