~* Expecting A Sibling Weekly Check-in*~

Welcome, ladies, to the Expecting a Sibling Weekly Check-In! I will try to post this check-in each Friday around 10:00am-12p EST, so be looking for it! I'll also try to repost this around Saturday-Sunday so that others can add to our thread. If you'd like you can also put the date of your next checkup or u/s and I'll add next to your name so that we can send good thoughts your way on that particular day.

Below is the list of ladies who have joined us, 70 so far! If you would like to be added to our list, please leave your Bump Name, your real name (if you choose to share), and what number child this will add to your family. Newbies are always welcome, as well as proud step parents & those adopting!

For those who are newbies please read the post New to January Moms or The Bump? (thank you to mchupie!). It will help answer so many questions, and you can also grab the January Joy button code from that post. There is also a bump glossary located here. And an unofficial glossary located here. The unofficial glossary contains a lot more bump lingo.

Also cdobry01 has setup a January Joy Mamas blog!

If you have a labor buddy let me know so I can make a note on our check-ins! It's okay to have multiple buddies too.

Update on our ladies:

If you plan on staying team green/yellow/red etc.(because we all know there is more than one neutral color), let us know so we can mark you as such.

    Hey, AppleMomma!  I haven't caught one of these check-ins in forever!  My next appt is 8/12 and my big u/s is 9/7... Can't wait to find out what we're having!!!

    General QOTD: Been feeling pretty good.  I'm a little more comfortable sleeping for now, so I'm grateful for that!

    QOTD: I never got a Bumbo Babysitter for DS, so I saw a lime green one in great condition at a consignment shop and I picked it up.  We also bought another crib mattress since DS's will go into his toddler bed with him.  We might get a new baby monitor at the Baby Age outlet tomorrow since they're cheap there and they had a few last weekend.  I think that's about it!

    General QOTD:How have you felt this week?  Still tired - I can not wait for this to go away!

    QOTD:Have you bought anything yet for this new baby?  No but my DD bought a pink snow globe for baby.  I asked what would happen if baby was a boy & she said he will learn to like it.

    General QOTD:  Yesterday was tough... I felt sick all day long and hungry all day long.  But today I'm feeling much better, though I do have a headache that I can't seem to shake.

    QOTD:  We haven't purchased anything yet.  I'd like to get a new wrap with a prettier design than the boring solid navy blue one I already have.  We have our big ultrasound in 13 days and if it's a girl we'll probably go buy a few things then.

    this week i have been so tired. dd brought home another lovely daycare cold and we started a new schedule this week, so i've just been off all week.

    i was just thinking about this the other day. i have yet to by baby #2 anything, and i feel kind of bad about it. i'd probably bought dd a handful of things by now and started looking into cribs and such. maybe after my ultrasound, so i know what i'm buying for. just doesn't make much sense to me to buy for something i potentially already have stuff for. sorry baby #2.

    Been starting to feel better this week, THANK GOD! I've only thrown up once in the past week (down from every day a few times a day, ugh). But I still have to keep eating to feel ok. Which sucks because I was determined to not gain as much weight as I did with dd. Oh well.

    I feel horrible but I've done nothing, nor purchased anything for this baby, but I think partly because I was so sick.
