DS has been eating really well (solids) at breakfast, lunch, & dinner but the past few days he's had maybe 16 oz. in a 24 hour period. Just curious if this is normal....TIA! (he's not sick, etc.)

I have heard at this age that 16-24 oz per day is normal. My LO only drinks 16-20 oz per day (usually closer to 16). It is totally normal. As long as you LO is getting hydrated in other ways too, like fruits, water, things water based, etc.
I just asked our pediatrician this today. Our daughter has been taking only 16 oz for a week now. She said if they are eating table foods it is normal for them to decrease formula intake. She said 16-20 oz per day is needed to prevent dehydration. She didn't seem too worried about it.
DD gets 22-24 oz of EBM daily. She gets 4 6oz bottles. She gobbles up the first 3 of the day (6 am, 10 am, 2pm, last at 6:30pm). The last one, she usually takes at least 4, sometimes all 6 oz. It depends on how much she likes her dinner:). She was starting to refuse the last bottle of the day all together a few weeks ago, so I moved her dinner up to 5, so she's more willing to drink the whole thing (or most of it). Pedi said to aim for 18-24 oz. BM daily. DD is on the small side, so I feel better if she gets closer to the 24 oz.
