AW: Elizabeth is 6 months old today!

Hi Ladies! I?ve been super MIA,because we?ve been on vacation and I?m trying to spend as much time withElizabeth as I can before I go back to work. I?ve missed a lot of the check-insso here?s what going on with us:

First of all, Elizabeth is 6monthsold today! We?re doing a cake with her cousins tomorrow so ill try & postsome pics on here or facebook if I can. I cannot believe how fast this went. Itreally does feel like she was just put in my arms for the first time yesterday.

            Sheis able to stand if she is holding onto something. The problem is the kidthinks she can walk, obviously she?s not quite there yet, and so it?s ending ina lot of bumps and bruises.

She?s discovered how to give kisseswhich is her favorite thing to do.

She Loves swimming- DH is stilltaking her daily (I haven?t been able to find a mommy & me class until thefall). She can go under and knows how to kick; she?s showing interest inpaddling her arms. (She only does this w/ DH, not w/ mommy who doesn?t swim fora living like daddy). He?s convinced she will be surfing by 8 months. We?llsee?           

My sister used to work for Mr. Marriott,and still gets a lot of great perks. She?s been staying in the Presidentialsuite at JW Marriott in Palm Springs for the past 2 weeks and will be there forthe rest of the week. About 40 other family & friends have had rooms outthere too during the time (we always do a huge vacation in August w/ our family& my parents friends) DH & I were out last week, he had to come homefor work, but my mom & I are going back out tonight for the weekend. Itsbeen so much fun to see Elizabeth around all her cousins. She was the youngestbut could definitely hold her own.

Two of my cousins just announcedthey are pregnant. I am so excited for them. Their EDD?s are about 4 daysapart. For the past 6 months I?ve been dreading getting KU again. After thehorrible pregnancy I had I wasn?t sure if I could do it again, but I?verealized I can and I want to. Not that we are TTC anytime soon, and I am on BC,but I think we will be ready around December or Jan to start thinking about it.Hopefully by then we will have bought a house or be closer than we are now too.

During the first few nights outthere my sister hosted a scrapbook retreat. One of her friends joined us and isa Doula. Her website is  www.enjoybirth.com. I was so impressed byher and will definitely be taking her classes and using her services for ournext birth. I?m not going to expect anything but I?d like to have a differentexperience n ext time around and I think she can help
