Is your DH going to your shower?

Our shower is being held the first weekend in October. I am still on the fence as if I should have DH go or not. Of course he would rather not be there with a bunch of ladies, but would go without resistance if I asked him to.

Are you having your DH's attend your showers?

My DH will be coming at the very end to say "thank you" as well as help to load stuff out to the car. We did the same thing at my bridal shower.

One shower will be at our house, since she is having it so late. I'll be 36 weeks. But he will just be getting home from work at the end of it.
The other he won't be at.

Yup. We're having family and friends of his that I don't particularly know, so I thought it would be more comfortable for all parties involved to have him present.

SILs are throwing me a shower and their family always throws "co-ed showers". So DH will be there.

DH will be coming in to say hi and coming back to say thank you and help load up the car. I just think its a nice gesture for him to personally thank the guests if he can.

He won't be coming at all.

His best friend's wife (who I've become good friends with) is helping my BFF co-host the shower.

So I think DH and his friend are looking forward to an afternoon to just hang out, drink beer and play video games without their wives (and friend's 7 year old daughter) being around bugging them. Stick out tongue

Nah. He came to a pampered chef party once (all ladies) and even though he got to eat yummy food & watch TV, he still got bored & fell asleep on the couch! lol!

DH will be at the shower. He was at our Bridal shower, and in our family its kind of expected that the guy be there as well as the girl. I like that he can personally thank everyone for coming and for the gifts, and then he can pack up all the stuff and bring it home!

Nope, he is currently/will be deployed for both of them. If he was here, he would probably come by at the end to help pack up the car.

We're going to a hall that has 2 floors. the ladies will be upstairs and the boys (Uncles, boyfriends, husbands etc..) will be downstairs ( where there's a bar!) So I'm sure He'll pop up and say hello to everyone

My DH will be there. In my family, it's expected, and the guest all have fun teasing the new dad (and mom too) about all the stuff they don't know about babies. It's a little like a PG rated roast with presents and cake, actually.
