My DS and I were just playing in the playroom. Right before we came in here I gave him a frozen teething toy. I was checking my email and he just crawled up to me and stood at my chair. I said "where did your toy go?" and he looked over at the teething toy, plopped down, crawled over to it, and held it up in the air, as if to say "it's right here mama!" This might be the first time he's acted like he understand me, aside from his name and the word "no."
Re: Awww, my baby understands me!
We've been having of a few of those moments, and I find it to be such a relief! It's like, "He will listen to me one day!" lol.
He likes to crawl up and down our hall and yesterday I said, "Lincoln, why don't you come play in the living room with Mommy and Daddy?" He turned right on around and came to his toys! Coincidence? Probably so. But I'll take it!
