Pregnant after a Loss

Clayliover update #2 for Thursday

Things are still stable.  Still dilated, but not contracting or dilating any more than she was.  Her water bag is actually receding back a little bit, so the tredelenberg position is working, as awful as it is.

They are going to try and put the pessary back in tomorrow.  I presume they say try because they do not want to put any stress on the bulging water bag.

She's been told she's definitely not going home until she delivers.

Oh, and the reason I didn't hear for her for so many hours - her phone died and she had to wait for DH's family to bring their things from home, including chargers.  So to all who said 'no news is good news,' you were right!

I truly believe that positive thinking and prayers are keeping those baby girls cooking.  Clayli has been on the edge of losing them so many times the past few weeks... and each time she's been brought back from the edge.  And I just know that it's because so many people in her life and on the internet are thinking good thoughts for them.  So, thank you.

  • This is good news.  As always, thanks for the update Jen.  I'm so happy to hear that Clayli will be getting the care she needs in the hospital and that she won't be sent home.  The hospital is the best place for her and her girls.  They are in my T&Ps.

  • I am so glad the girls are still inside babies!  I have really been thinking and praying for her all day.  I think it just really hits home, after being a preemie mom, and knowing all the struggles that could be ahead.  The ladies on the preemie board are awesome, and there is a private preemie board, that is even better that she should join from there  :)  The ladies give the best advice ever, and they all know so much.  Let her know she has tons of prayers being sent her way!
