Anyone do classes for LO, such as Gymboree?

My LO is curious about everything now, so I am thinking of looking into play/learning classes.  Anyone do Gymboree classes or are there any other types of activities/classes in the area that I should look into?  My LO is 14 months.  If you did any classes, what did you think of them?

  • Kindermusic might be another option for you. They have mommy and me classes that include that age group. Various locations around town.

Can you tell me more about this please, where is it located, do they have a website I can check out? I would really be interested in doing something like this.

  • Here is a link to the locations section of the web site. I don't know where you are, but I'm sure you'll find one not too far from you. Click on the city nearest you for info. A friend of mine teaches at the one in Hudson.

  • Story Time at the libraries.  Two of us Bumpies in the area go to Bay's story time (it restarts on 9.20) and it is great - stories, songs, rhymes and for the snuggle bugs age group, play time afterwards.  We also just went to the Barnes and Noble story time at Crocker Park - lots of songs, a few stories and a snack.  Both are free and no sign up.  I know Lakewood library does story times for all ages, but you do need to sign up.
