extra fussy at 6-7 weeks?

My very mild mannered baby has been extra fussy this week. She has also seemed more sleepy on some days but has been fighting it. She also went from giving me 4 to 5 hour stretches(pretty much since we came home) at night to 2 hour stretches two nights in a row. Last night we were back to longer sleep periods thank goodness.

i'm curious if this might have to do with the 6 week growth spurt..

Growth Spurt!!! DS was extra fussy around 6 weeks. I think he's over it now and is showing signs of STTN. Wohoo!

I am experiencing this right now! For the last few weeks, she was taking 3-4 oz per feeding and sleeping 3-4 hours at a time. For the last few days, she's been eating 1-2 oz every 1-2 hours. And she's fussy throughout the day. What's up with that? I feel like we're regressing back to her early days. I'm curious to see if anyone who has been through it has any insight.

DS is 7 weeks old and we went through this last week. He went back to eating every 1 1/2 to 2 hours during the day and sleeping only 3 hours at a time at night. After about 4 days we started to get back on track and ended the week with a 6 hour stretch of sleep at night! Give it a few days and it should get better.

This is how mine was ALL last week! She turned 7 weeks yesterday, and today she is a different baby... laughing, smiling, giggling and eating 4 oz ever 3 hours again! I know there's no way she could know about this saying, and it could be a fluke, but I hope she stays like this! Today was super fun!!!
