Back to life, Back to reality
:::sings along with everyone::: (Ok, if you're not old enough to know that song, well...I guess that makes me old.)
I've eased back into my teaching gig this week and will be MIA on the board. I'm trying to catch up after work, but boy are there many posts! I haven't been back to work since I received my diagnosis and then lost the boys, so it's been a difficult transition from my bubble back into the real world of kids, families and colleagues. Oh, and grading 50 papers. Yuck. I think, though, it will help me move forward with my grief and face some of the pain I've felt instead of hiding behind a Sookie Stackhouse novel. (And I'm on Book 10!)

I'll still be around and try to give out support, but the next few weeks are going to be H-E-double hockey stick. I wish I could just have a job that I can leave at work, and not bring home (or stay late at work).

I haven't caved into buying the last one in hardcover. But I keep telling myself it's better than wasting the money on being an alcoholic. (I spend way too much money on books. And I end up paying way too much money on overdue library books, and am too impatient to be on any waiting lists...)
