bump on cervix?

I check my cm internally and attempt to figure out my cervical position while "in there". Today I noticed a small hard bump on my cervix. Has this happened to anyone else before? Should I be concerned (esp. since I had an abnormal pap this month). It was in TCOYF that this can happen sometimes and these bumps go away on their own usually. I am thinking if I give it a week or two and they don't go away then I should call??

I also got a +OPK today...so I may need to leave in a minute here to share a moment with DH...!

Where on your cervix do you have it? I felt a bump right by the opening, it almost feels like a pea.

I have a small bump on mine. Feels like a tiny pea. It's on the "tip" but not right by the opening. I haven't felt any change in it ever, and although I haven't seen the doc for a while, she didn't mention anything last time I did.

I get several of these per month. Probably nothing to worry about.

Yes, it is on the opening, or at least near the opening. It is a little smaller then a pea. I knew I had read about it in TCOYF so I figured it was fine but wanted to check and make sure it was nothing serious. Thanks ladies!
