I have one called "my very own fairy tale" that I read to her...I had it made and it has her name in it and I also read her "come on baby duck"...she really loves them both. I lay her in my lap with the book above us and she listens to the whole story and just looks back and forth at the pictures..

I didn't know you can have a book made?! That's pretty cool! Where can I find that?
We read 2 stories at night - one regular and one "sleepy/bedtime" type book. Depends on how tired she is, there are times she'll reach for the pages to touch them, others you can tell she wants to eat them.
Our 'sleepy' stories that we rotate between: GoodNight Moon, Pajama Time and the Going To Bed Book (the last 2 are both by Sandra Boynton)

I have read him books at night, but he gets too worked up so it's a daytime only activity now! LOL
When I read him a book during the day he gets soo excited and hits all the pages and "talks" to the pictures. The other day I had him in my lap (on the floor) and I grabbed a Curious George book and the minute I opened it he lunged for it and almost did a face plant. He whined while I readjusted him until I started reading.

Sometimes he will grab the pages, other times he just sits there and watches me turn the pages.
Someday cannot be read without tears! So sweet.
