Baby Names

I may have picked names

I can't seem to move past these 2 first names so it looks like baby will be Atticus or Adelese (spelling still in question).  Middle names still change about once a day but as of right now, Jeremiah or Cosette.  I'm hoping to have a back up for each name but like I said, I keep going back to these two.

Re: I may have picked names

  • Wait, is this for a boy or girl? All the names pointed to a girl until I saw Jeremiah as an option for the middle name....

I was going to go with loving Adelese Cosette but it sounds too feminie if it's a boy. Also, how do you pronounce Adelese?

So then if it's a boy, I vote for Atticus...but I'm not sure about the middle name...what about Atticus Cole since the first name is a little different?

  • Atticus, Cosette, Jeremiah - all good names. I like the sound of Adelese, but since it seems like a mashup of the popular AD names...Addison/Adeline/Adele/Adela and the German, liese (as in Anneliese)

So if I had to take a stab at this name, I suppose I'd go with Adeliese. Annelise is also a variation of Anneliese, so Adelise might work as well.

Meaning would be along the lines of 'my God is an oath' or 'my God is abundance' with the word 'noble' thrown in there somewhere.

Atticus Jeremiah if it's a boy, Adelese Cosette if it's a girl.

  • They are both nms, but fine names. I would spell Adelese as Adeliese.
  • My cousin just named her baby Cosette!  I think it's pretty.

  • I like Adelese, but Atticus is NMS.
