Who else is working?

Misery loves company while MH isi sleeping away. My company is weird, no Columbus, Presidents or MLK day but they give us random days off near Xmas and Thanksgiving, nice in theory but not when your significant other or kids aren't off. Ugggh, I so wanted to call in, I'm not comign in MLK day, that I can guarantee. Hope everyone had a nice weekend.

Yeah Erin you can join my pity party! Sorry you are here too though. This is a weird one about 1/2 of people are off I think, I can't believe this year no MLK or Presidents, but hey I'll be on leave for at least Presidents.

I'm working. We don't get MLK or President's Day off either.

DH works for the state (our county's school system) and they don't get today off either. I remember getting Columbus Day off of school when I was a little kid, but they stopped giving us that day somewhere around middle/high school.

I'm working too! We don't get MLK, President's Day, Columbus Day, or any of those other Federal Holidays. DH works for the DOD, so he gets EVERY holiday off. So not fair. But, I do get 2 days at Thanksgiving and Christmas, and he doesn't. Doesn't really balance out in my opinion, but he likes to think it does.

The good thing about working today is that everyone else in th county has the day off, so it should be a nice quiet day.

I will be come 8:30. And my company works with schools all day long, so I have a feeling it could be a really slow day.

Yeah, I usually love working for a university because we seem to get every single holiday. I wish I were at home in my bed, and now because of froot I wish to have a full thanksgiving dinner. I'm thinking neither will happen. Oh well, Monday sucks yet again.
