TTC After a Loss

leneae

Have you received cost/insurance covered info on the TAC yet?  I read your blog yesterday, and the other two you have linked in your blog, and can't stop thinking about this procedure.  But, my main concern will be the cost.  From what I've been reading, insurances don't cover the TAC, unless you've had a failed TVC first, right?

  • I'm still impatiently waiting...  My understanding is that Dr H is able to document the necessity of it as a life-saving procedure for the baby/future baby.  Typically, yes, insurance only does it when you've had a failed, but he is one of those doctors who is willing to say, "Enough is enough" and facilitates getting it done.  He said he has a person on staff who solely deals with insurance... I'll keep you posted...  I'm going to send a folow up email right now!
