I have a delivery/birth question for you:

Did you deliver early for #1? If so, did you deliver early for #2?

The reason why I'm asking is that we are TTC #2 and if I get pregnant this cycle I will be due in May (mid May) and I'm in a wedding in April and May. I am still TTC this cycle so it's a possibility I could be pregnant/due at that time.

I was 3 weeks early with DS, so I'm just calling on all you moms out there to see if history repeated for itself regarding your subsequent deliveries.

A little -- as in about a day before my due date. With DS, about the same -- 3 days before my due date but I opted for induction for a variety of reasons, which went very quickly.

DD1 was pretty much right on time (3 days before her due date) but DD2 was 3 weeks early!

Caleb came 3 days before my due date. Rory was a scheduled csection at 38 weeks. Sorry I'm no help!!!

I was 4 weeks early with DS#1 and 2 weeks early with DS#2. I would have been 8 weeks early with both if they hadn't been able to stop my labor.

I had Brady 3 weeks early, but only because of pre-e. Henry was 4 weeks early, but also due to medical issues.

I delivered on my EDD for #1 and 2 days before my EDD for #2, so no help for you!

Among my mommy-friends of more than 1 kid IRL, it seems there's no guarantee that you'll follow the same pattern each time. Some people do, but I know people who have had one baby before the EDD and one after.

One of my friends just had baby #2 Monday. Her first baby was about 7 days late. This one was due August 5 and arrived on August 2. So, hard to tell.

I was a little overdue with DD1. Had to be induced at 40w1d due to pre-e.

DD2 came eight days early; my water broke. She came almost two full days before our scheduled c/s (she was breech) -- nobody was expecting her to come as early as she did!

DD#1 and DS were both born 3 days before my due date. DD#2 was born 2 days before my due date.

I had pre-e with both pregnancies so I had #1 at 36 weeks and #2 at 36 1/2 weeks. Don't know if that helps you or not.

DS was born 8 days early so I was hoping DD would be even earlier so she wouldn't miss the cutoff for kindergarten....however she was only born 2 days early

Delivered both early!

My water broke with DS1 the night of 38w4d......delivered him the next day via c-section at 38w5d.

I had a repeat c-section scheduled with DS2 at 39w1d........I went into active labor at 37w5d and he was delivered that day.

I have a friend who had her DS almost 3 weeks early.

She has a scheduled c-section for next Tuesday for #2 and is not dilated at all and will probably make it to her c-section on Tuesday......

You just never know!

Both of my girls were overdue -- 10 days with DD1 and a week with DD2.

I really, really didn't think I was going to go overdue the second time, but, yeah, history repeated itself for me! I have a neighbor friend who recently had her third child and went overdue with all three, so I'm not holding out any hope for my next one.

I was 39 weeks and a few days with #1. With #2, I went into pre-term labor at 36 weeks and ended on bedrest until 38 weeks as her lungs were not developed enough to deliver. I ended up having my planned c-section at 39 weeks after 3 weeks of labor that was not really doing much!

History didn't repeat itself for me! DS (#1) was 2 weeks early. DD (#2) was almost 2 weeks late. Wasn't expecting being pregnant for that extra month!

DS I went into labor on my own at 39weeks 4 day and had him the next afternoon (23 1/2 hours).... With DD my dr. let me go to 40 weeks and immediately scheduled an induction for Monday morning (my appt was Friday afternoon). Her growing slowed, breathing was pretty shallow, there were actual health concerns. I went in at 40 weeks 3 days and still hadn't hit 100% and was "maybe dilated to 1". She had no intention of coming. So for me, DD didn't follow suit.
