Looking for an OB rec in Bergen County/Valley Hospital

Hi all -

I live in Bergen County now but my OB is in NYC.  I'm hoping to find a great OB to deliver at Valley Hospital.

Ideally I'm looking for an office where the people are friendly and the OB takes the time to talk with you about whatever questions you might have.  My current OB has zero people skills.

If you are happy with your OB and they deliver at Valley, would you mind passing along their info?

Thanks!

  • Hi!  I go to the Valley Center for Women's Health.  They are located in Ramsey and Ridgewood.  They have 5 OB's on staff and another one is joining the practice soon.  So far I have met 4 of them and they have all been very friendly, as has the office staff.  The OB nurse Erica is FANTASTIC.  I'll be delivering at Valley Hospital too.  If you have any questions feel free to send me a message.

  • I use Valley OBGYN in Paramus on Eisenhower Drive. They are great, there are 3 OBs in the office with two additional on their rotation at Valley Hospital. They were fabulous throughout my pregnancy & delivery. FWIW, Dr. Russo is my favorite of the three..
  • I am switching to the Valley Center for Women's Health after this pregnancy, the new Dr. entering the practice is a friend of mine and I totally trust her. I just wish she could have started sooner to deliver this one!
  • i absolutely love my OBGYN (Dr. Melody Behnam offices in Wyckoff and Ridgewood).  she is awesome answering the multitude of questions (and became a mom last year so she completely understands as a doc and a mom).  I also really like her practice because you always see her (not a rotation of doctors) and most times I see the same nurse.  They also have evening hours (thursdays) that makes it very easy for the numerous appointments that you will need to go to.  She is wonderful, I can't wait for my #2... ok I can wait a bit longer... but definately going back to have Dr. Behnam deliver him/her
